PLANTING & CARE
- Temperature – They can be found in a wide range of temperatures, except for areas of extreme heat or cold.
- Water – Newly planted– Water young shrubs during dry spells for the first two years. Afterward, the shrub is drought tolerant and can make do with what nature provides
- Light – Keep the plant in indirect bright light location for 2-3 days and then gradually move to a location that receives 4-6 hours of direct sunlight
- Fertilizer – Fertilize the shrub with 10-10-10 fertilizer in spring of the year after planting and every other year thereafter.
- Pruning – Cut the plants back to the soil surface and apply mulch to help against deep freeze or changes in soil temperatures
