PLANTING & CARE
- Temperature – Prefers temperature between 20˚C and 28˚C
- Water – After planting the plant, you should water it daily for the first week. After two weeks, you can water the plant when you see the soil surface dry
- Light – The plant must be planted in an area where there is partial/full sunlight.
- Fertilizer – Analysis of the results revealed significant differences in growth as well as yield characteristics due to application of inorganic fertilizers.
- Pruning – Pinch off branch tips in early spring with a pruning clipper once the Jatropha reaches a height of 2 feet to promote new, lush branch growth. Pinch off the tips in each subsequent year until the plant reaches a height of 6 feet.
