PLANTING & CARE
- Temperature – Prefers temperature 60-80° F
- Water -Newly planted–Water regularly, but not too much, from May to September, for older plants growing in the ground.Reduce the watering in winter.
- Light – It blooms best in full sun, but will tolerate some shade if you are willing to sacrifice some of the bloom
- Fertilizer – Start about six or eight weeks after you applied granular fertilizer to the soil in the spring
- Pruning – Cut back all leggy stems or branches that detract from the plumbago’s overall shape after each flush of blooms
