PLANTING & CARE
Temperature | Prefers temperature as low as -20F. |
Water | Newly planted– water during the aestival growth cycle (this plant need plenty of water) But needs to be avoided wetting the bodies of these plants while they are in sunlight. |
Light | A wet cactus in the sun light can cause sun burning which can lead to scares or even fungal infections and death. Needs full sun. Keep dry at 10°C in winter, but can tolerate sporadic light frost. |
Fertilizer | Liquid fertilizers are the easiest to apply to your jade plant. Choose a formula specially made for cacti and succulents. A regular liquid houseplant fertilizer is also sufficient , Never apply a liquid fertilizer to the soil when it is dry, as this can result in damage to the plant’s root system. |
Pruning | Cactus pruning is not always necessary and when to prune a cactus plant will depend upon why you are trimming it. |
